Training Courses from SM Thacker & Associates

Our Courses

Participation

First principles

One thing we insist on is that our courses are delivered from first principles. We believe that this method is the most effective, because the principles are then capable of being adapted to suit your local circumstances.

Continuous improvement

We continuously improve our courses based on our latest research and feedback from participants.

Support following the course

We have observed that following conventional training courses, the adoption of revised practices is low. This we believe is for two reasons:

  1. The training does not meet strategic objectives or is mistimed in the context of a change programme.
  2. The participants often need coaching in the early application of the training.

Following the course we will be happy to answer telephone or email queries from participants relating to the topic content free of charge.

Optional further support packages

Also to solve this problem, we are happy to assist your development programme / project with a complete range of support packages ranging from mentoring, and coaching, to hands-on consultancy, or to deliver standard or tailored course content to in-house workshops.

Our Trainers

Our trainers, whilst understanding modern best practice theory with a number of published articles in journals and research papers, have broad and in-depth knowledge and wide range of practical experience, actually implementing these practices in a variety of real businesses around the world in line management and senior consulting roles.

Our Participants

We listen very carefully to what our course participants say and here is a selection of what some of our attendees and their managers have said about our courses:

 Finally

We aim to have some fun in our courses, since this has been shown to have a beneficial effect on learning, and we aim to challenge your preconceived ideas about the topic.
